The match between Cagliari and Genoa ended with a score of 3-3 on Saturday afternoon, with kick-off at 15:00, at the Unipol Domus: a challenge full of ideas, in which stand out on the one hand the performance of Gennaro Borrelli, author of two goals, on the other hand the goal a little bit sensational, a few minutes before the end, Aaron Martin, who avoids the first defeat on the bench Genoa Daniele De Rossi.

It is precisely Genoa to lead, in the first half bursting out: on 18:18, Colombo serves Vitinha, who turns effectively in the area and finishes in the net.

It is Genoa itself that takes the lead, in a crackling first half: on 18′ in fact, Colombo serves Vitinha, who turns effectively in the box and scores a goal past Caprile for the 1-0. On 33′ the equalizer arrives: Borrelli, today in a day of grace, hits a header off the ball that arrived from the crossbar, Leali repels but does so over the line and the referee awards the goal.

The Grifone does not get discouraged and goes back ahead at 41′: great volley by Ostigard, nothing for the opposing goalkeeper to do and the hosts still under. The disadvantage, however, lasts less than two minutes: it is 43′, in fact, when a combination between Folorunsho, Deiola and Sebastiano Esposito frees the latter in front of Leali, who can’t do anything about the striker&#8217s outside. 2-2 is the score with which the two teams go to’halftime.

Cagliari&#8217s comeback is finally completed on the quarter d’hour of the second half: great ball by Zappa for Borrelli, who escapes the control of Norton-Cuffy and Marcandalli and makes no mistake in front of the goal, thus scoring his first double in Serie A. Genoa, however, did not give up: at 79′ they went in on goal with Colombo, but the’referee cancelled for an irregular position of Ekuban, at’84’ however, there was nothing to hinder the validity of Martin&#8217s goal, which directly from a free kick mocked Caprile, betrayed by the trajectory of the ball and its bounce in the area.

Nervous finale, in the recovery comes the second yellow for Norton-Cuffy that forces Genoa to play for a couple of laps of the clock in numerical inferiority. However, the result does not change anymore: it ends 3-3, Cagliari rises to 11 points while Genoa, still mired in the relegation zone, moves to 8.
