No particular excitement was recorded in the first half’abundant hour of play: the first real jolt was felt at 37′, when a touch of hands by Ehizibue in the Bianconeri area was punished, after a long review between Sala VAR and on-field review, to the’awarding of the maximum free kick for the Rossoblù. From the penalty spot goes Orsolini, but the Bologna player gets hypnotized by Okoye. The score doesn&#8217t change until halftime, the resumption starts from 0-0.

And it is in the first quarter of the second half that Bologna mortgages the three points, with two sudden bursts from the man you don&#8217t expect, Tommaso Pobega. The ex-Milanista first went in on goal at 54′, taking advantage in the best way possible of Orsolini&#8217s assist to displace the opposing goalkeeper, then doubled it at 60′, taking advantage of a defensive lightness on the Okoye-Karlstrom axis.

Kosta Runjaic plays all five changes between 63′ and 71′: in with Zanoli, Buksa, Bayo, Zemura and Piotrowski, out with Ehizibue, Davis, Zaniolo, Kamara and Ekkelenkamp. On the other hand, Italiano took off Zortea inserting De Silvestri right after 2-0, and then replaced in the final Orsolini, Fabbian (who at 70′ missed by a whisker the final knockout blow), Dominguez and Castro with Sulemana, Bernardeschi, Odgaard and Dallinga.

One of the newcomers, Bernardeschi, put his signature on the 3-0 score at 94′ finishing in the best possible way a quick throw-in. Bologna can thus rejoice at the triple whistle: today&#8217s is the 11th useful result between the league and Europa League, confirming a positive moment to say the least. For Udinese, on the other hand, it is the second ko in a row after the one with Roma: the Friulian team&#8217s 15 points remain.
