Sampdoria rises again, a penalty kick folds Juve Stabia

Last-place Sampdoria won its second victory of the season by beating Juve Stabia 1-0 in the postponement of the 13th day of Serie B at Luigi Ferraris.

The decisive moment came in the 54th minute: Vukic was landed in the box by Ruggero, referee Bufferli initially did not award the penalty but was called back to the Var.

After the consultation, the referee retraced his steps and awarded the penalty to Samp and expelled Ruggero for double admonition. After a hint of a brawl, in the 59th minute, five minutes after the foul, Coda converted.

First win then on the Blucerchiata bench for Gregucci, who arrived a month ago. Sampdoria bypasses Pescara and Spezia in the standings, the Campani remain seventh with Reggiana and Empoli.
