Bologna, Vincenzo Italiano warns against Salzburg

Bologna coach Vincenzo Italiano incites his team on the eve of the Europa League home match with Salzburg. Here are his words.

“If it is true that teams are made in the image and likeness of the coach rest assured that we will not be found unprepared and we will remain humble despite the many compliments for what we are doing in the league. Europe is a different story: Salzburg has been making the cups for 19 consecutive years, it will be a tough challenge.”

“The dream of our president and the whole club is to be permanently stationed in positions that will allow us to qualify for the European cups. Growth goes from there and that is what we must seek. We want to pass the round and we have to exploit above all the charge in our audience to get to our goal and never pull the plug”.

“We waited until the’last moment to see if someone could be recovered. So it was with Holm. We had the’uncertainty whether to add De Silvestri to have more coverage on the full-backs or whether to add someone on the outsides. In the end with Holm recovered and available we opted on Dominguez to have an extra choice up front”.
