The fourteenth day of the Serie B championship opened with Cesena’s measured success over Modena: it was by the Spaniard Jalen Blesa, at 43′, the goal of the Bianconeri victory, which came at the twilight of a first half in which the Canarini had wasted with Gliozzi, at 24′, the opportunity to take the lead from the penalty spot.

At the end of the game, however, Modena coach Andrea Sottil tried not to make dramas, although aware of a negative moment (two points in the last three games) that led not only to overtaking in first place by Monza but also, as of tonight, to the’hooking in second place precisely by Cesena.

“There’s little to say – said Sottil in the postgame press conference -We lost but for me the only negative thing was just the result. We missed a penalty and took the goal at the end of the first half, for the rest we played with only one goal and we did it on a difficult field like Cesena”.

Looking ahead to the other matches, the situation at the top of the standings could change further: behind Modena and Cesena, both on 26 points, there&#8217s Frosinone on 25, which could move into the direct promotion zone in case of an away win against Reggiana in the match scheduled for Saturday at 3 p.m.
