Reduced by two consecutive victories, Everton aims to climb further up the Premier League standings by trying to overcome the resistance of the faltering Newcastle, which in the last three games between the league and Champions League has won perhaps the most difficult one on paper, against Manchester City, losing instead those against Brentford and Marseille.

In front of the friendly crowd at the’Hill Dickinson Stadium, in the match scheduled for Saturday at 6:30 p.m. Italian time, Toffees coach David Moyes will have to do without first and foremost Gueye, who was sent off for the quarrel with his teammate Keane during the match against Manchester United, not to mention the absences of Coleman and Rohl, who are injured. In the Scottish coach’s 4-2-3-1 there will be Barry in attack, supported sa Ndiaye, dewsbury-Hall and Grealish.

On the other hand the Magipes’coach, Eddie Howe, is looking for a modicum of continuity at least in the league, where so far the Tyneside side has collected just fifteen points in twelve games, only four more than West Ham and Leeds, who share the third-last place. The HCL coach is still relying on a 4-3-3 with Woltemade as a central point, flanked by Barnes and Gordon.

Probable lineups

Everton (4-2-3-1): Pickford; O’Brien, Keane, Tarkowski, Mykolenko; Garner, Iroegbunam; Ndiaye, Dewsbury-Hall, Grealish; Barry. All. Moyes.

Newcastle (4-3-3): Pope; Livramento, Schar, Thiaw, Burn; Guimaraes, Tonali, Joelinton; Barnes, Woltemade, Gordon. All. Howe.
