A.C. Milan soccer players gathered today at the San Siro for the customary Christmas party of the Rossoneri youth sector, an event dedicated to girls and boys from the nursery for whom the club has designed a step-by-step itinerary inside the stadium. The first stage, curated by Milan Foundation, featured Mike Maignan, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Monica Renzotti and Nadin Sorelli. The players and players from the first teams collected toys destined for the pediatric wards of Milan hospitals, the result of Christmas donations made to the Puma House of Football-Centro Peppino Vismara, a collection in which the Milan Futuro players also participated.

The first stage was organized by the Milan Foundation.

The second stage then involved everyone in a challenge on a giant foosball table with eleven cues: on one side the team of Rafa Leao and Thea Kyvag, on the other the team of Luka Modric and Park Soo-jeon. Afterwards, the young Rossoneri were given access to the Milan locker room, where they received the club’s official scarves, before experiencing the San Siro tunnel, welcomed by the players and players of the first teams. The next stage of the evening, conducted by Milan’s speaker at San Siro Germano Lanzoni and journalist Romina Minadeo, was devoted to speeches by the managers.

In particular, speeches were given by l’chief executive officer Giorgio Furlani, Vincenzo Vergine for the men’s youth sector), Jovan Kirovski for Milan Futuro and Gianfranco Parma for the women’s youth sector, who reiterated the educational and identity value of the rossoneri youth path, also stressing the importance of the Milan Futuro project, currently engaged in the Girone B of the Serie D (twenty-four points collected in the first fifteen days of the championship, with the rossonera team in the playoff zone) for the growth of talents to be launched, later, in the first team.

Closing the evening were Massimiliano Allegri and Suzanne Bakker, coaches of the senior men’s and women’s teams, respectively, along with players and players Matteo Gabbia, Davide Bartesaghi, Alexis Saelemaekers, Angelica Soffia, Chanté Dompig and Giorgia Arrigoni. All responded to the curiosity of the boys and girls from the nursery, giving anecdotes and smiles. The party thus united different generations of the club, transforming San Siro into a stage of play and confrontation that strengthened the bond between the young people of the nursery and the protagonists of the first teams, in an atmosphere of authentic participation and sharing.
