Go forward without hesitation, and with mutual confidence. This is the best feeling to deliver to the Juventus people, who continue to hold their breath every time there is talk of the future of what has now become the main idol of the fans, namely Kenan Yildiz. Hence the need to accelerate, also to armor themselves from the continuous calls that arrive, with almost weekly punctuality, from the big ones of Europe. In fact, the exponential growth in recent weeks, under the guidance of Luciano Spalletti, has further turned the international spotlight on the Turkish talent, who has definitively established himself as the technical leader of Juventus.

An almost natural destiny for the most classy player in the Bianconeri squad, too often in the past sacrificed to the tactical needs of the side first by Thiago Motta (who sometimes even excluded him from the starting eleven) and then by Igor Tudor. With the Certaldo coach on the bench, however, the music has changed dramatically, and the numbers speak for themselves: 7 league appearances, 3 goals and a decisive assist for Cabal in the narrow win in Bologna. In other words, his educated foot now consistently affects the Lady’s results. It is no coincidence that all this is happening now that Yildiz is acting in a more central position and closer to the opponent’s goal.

The feeling between Spalletti and Kenan may also prove decisive on the contractual front. The fantasist’s renewal has become the top priority for HCL ad Damien Comolli. Contacts with the player’s entourage, led by his father Engin, continue on a monthly basis and could lead to a new acceleration as early as the summit scheduled for January. The idea at Continassa is clear: avoid unnecessary waiting and close the game as soon as possible. That’s why Juventus is ready to make a further effort after the 4.5 million plus bonus proposal presented about a month ago, evidently not enough to get the definitive yes of the 2005 class.

On the table, now, is the possibility of going up to 6 million-a move that would make Yildiz the highest paid player on the roster, on par with Jonathan David. A status strongly desired by those who assist the Bayern-raised talent, and one that would satisfy all parties involved: Juve, who would secure their star, and Kenan himself, who would see his centrality in the project fully recognized.

To further soften the position of daddy Engin and his lawyer, a further concession from the club is also not ruled out: a contractual deadline moved to 2031, instead of 2030. An extra year that, from an economic point of view, weighs heavily. On the technical side, on the other hand, Spalletti’s arrival has dispelled any doubts about a Juventus that was in danger of slipping into anonymity.
