Napoli prepares to take the field for a crucial challenge in the Champions League: Tuesday’s opponent is FC Copenhagen, which like the partenopei is fighting to get back into useful playoff positions. Antonio Conte&#8217s team arrives at the Danish fixture with the confidence stemming from the win against Sassuolo, but with reduced room for maneuver in terms of choices, given the many injuries.

Conte will repropose ten elevenths of the lineup that overcame the neroverdi, with the only change being Alessandro Buongiorno, called up to replace the injured Rrahmani in the center of defense. The coach will still rely on the 3-4-3, with Milinkovic-Savic between the posts and a defensive line completed by Beukema and Juan Jesus. In the midfield, there will be space for Di Lorenzo, Lobotka, McTominay and Spinazzola, while in attack there will be Vergara’s Champions League debut as a starter, deployed alongside Hojlund and Elmas.

The Danish lineup, led by Jacob Neestrup, will instead offer a compact, defensively oriented 4-4-2. Between the posts will be Kotarski, protected by a line consisting of Suzuki, Gabriel Pereira, Hatzidiakos and Lopez. Larsson, Clem, Delaney and Robert will act in the midfield, while the offensive tandem will be formed by Elyounoussi and Cornelius, the latter known for his pasts in Italy at Atalanta and Parma.
