Inter market, all the reasons to bet on Ivan Perisic

Ivan Perisic seems to be getting closer and closer to returning to wear the Nerazzurri jersey. The Croatian, 36, is the classic market opportunity that Nerazzurri president Beppe Marotta has always talked about. Indeed, it is. First and foremost, he could arrive without much financial effort. Moreover, he is still physically intact and, best to remember, he knows perfectly well what it means to play in the Inter shirt. He would be perfect for Cristian Chivu, who is desperate for an outfielder who would allow him to have more offensive solutions.

PSV Eindhoven is doing everything not to let him leave mid-season, but if the Dutch are eliminated from the Champions League (in the event of a defeat against Bayern Munich in the next round, it will be certain) they could also consider selling the 36-year-old outside back. Ivan Perisic would perfectly match what Inter is looking for. The Croatian player also earns just over half a million euros a year at PSV and is set to expire in 2027.

Inter is in the window, ready to step up if the conditions are right for the decisive lunge. In a market poor in bargains, it is clear that being able to think about bringing home a player as structured and solid as Ivan Perisic is an opportunity not to be missed. Clearly, the player&#8217s liking is not in question.

Ivan Perisic played six seasons in the Nerazzurri, and it would be the second return to Milan for him after the one in 2020. In total with the shirt of the meneghino club he played 254 games, scoring 55 goals. He has won three trophies with the Nerazzurri, including the Scudetto in the 2020/21 season.

Should he return to Serie A pitches, he could soon be confronted, once again, with his “old” national teammate Luka Modric who is doing so well with the Milan Rossoneri jersey. The derby is scheduled for March.
