No Juventus for Youssef En-Nesyri. This was announced by Giorgio Chiellini who spoke to Sky Sport before the big match between Juventus and Napoli: “The situation is quite simple. We went to talk to the boy who expressed doubts about the formula. For us at this moment it is a closed negotiation, we do not want and cannot buy outright. We will see in the coming days if there are opportunities, we will remain vigilant, but for us I repeat that it is a closed negotiation”.
Chiellini himself also reiterated the concept to Dazn: “We went to talk to him, because it could have been an interesting opportunity, and he showed perplexity about the mode of transfer, on loan. So as of today the negotiation is closed. We will see if there is an opportunity to improve the team next week, knowing that the January market is very complicated”. In the last hours Sevilla, the club where Youssef En-Nesyri has played for four seasons expressing himself at his best, would be inserted.
The Andalusian club is looking for a reinforcement in attack and taking advantage of the strong ties with the player convinced him to wait and consider a possible return to Spain, where he knows the environment well and where he has shined in the past. The slowdown disappointed Juventus, which had hoped to finalize the deal in the coming hours: Ottolini himself was aiming to return to Italy with the player. Juve itself is now beginning to doubt the player’s willingness to prove himself in Italy and may look elsewhere in the final days of the market.

Mateta always remains a hot name: the player would be ready to break with Crystal Palace in order to wear the Juventus jersey, but the London club after selling Guehi does not want to lose another team landmark. Also on his trail are Aston Villa and other English clubs.

“He has never asked to be sold, nor have we received any offers to date,” said coach Oliver Glasner. “Every player has a price at which the club, taking into account his age and contract, says okay and negotiates his transfer, but there have been no offers for Mateta.”
