Ademola Lookman sulking: there's a line of top clubs

Here we go again: just like six months ago, Ademola Lookman wants to leave Atalanta and is ready for anything to leave Bergamo. The star player last summer had tried everything to move to Inter Milan, but the Orbico club, which had already deprived itself of a big name (Mateo Retegui, who flew to Al-Qadsiah for almost 70 million euros), blocked everything and Lookman remained at La Dea. The winter soccer window has awakened in the Nigerian the desire to move and he’s already let the Percassi family know, however, that he is not of the same mind.
After a very complicated start with Ivan Juric on the bench, Atalanta has picked itself up with Raffaele Palladino but the Champions League goal is still far away and the club needs all its resources (including Lookman) to continue the race for fourth place. Meanwhile, Bergamasque fans on social media are back to attacking the Nigerian center forward: “He does not have the slightest gratitude to the club that made him the player he is today, if I were the club I would sell him immediately as a matter of principle” wrote Ezio. “I believe that institutions should defend clubs from capricious players and money-hungry prosecutors” the thought shared by Alessandro.
The opportunity to buy Ademola Lookman is, however, of great interest to many top clubs: in Serie A there’s above all Antonio Conte’s Napoli, in great difficulty after the numerous injuries that have mowed down the Italian champion lineup. Lookman costs about 40 million euros, a very important sum, but Aurelio De Laurentiis will try in every way to meet Conte’s demands. Also on the trail of the Nigerian from Atalanta’Atalanta is Bayern Munich, looking for a viable alternative to Harry Kane.
The English bomber is immovable and is at the center of the Bavarian project but there’s a need for a reliable replacement and so far Nicolas Jackson has not convinced. The Senegalese arrived in Germany last summer on an onerous loan (16 million euros) with a buy-back option (set at 65 million euros) but at the moment it is highly unlikely that Bayern Munich will decide to keep him.
Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal is also monitoring Ademola Lookman’s situation with great interest: the Gunners need a reinforcement in the offensive department and the Nigerian is highly liked. Do not rule out the Turkey option: Galatasaray and Fenerbahce are ready to offer the player a lot of money.
