Serie A 2025-2026: Hellas Verona-Udinese, the probable formations

Sunday evening’s match between Hellas Verona and Udinese will close the 22nd day of the championship. The hosts are in desperate need of points to get out of the red zone of the standings, which currently sees them second-last with 14 points (the same as Pisa, the tail-end), and will try to get a result against the Friulians, who instead have a chance to hook Lazio in ninth place.

Paolo Zanetti is expected to confirm Ebosse starting in defense with Slotsager and Nelsson, Lirola will man the right lane. Serdar, Gagliardini, Bernede and Bradaric will complete the five-man midfield while in attack there will be no Mosquera (struggling with a muscle ailment) and Orban will play with Sarr.

The team will be in the starting lineup.

L’Udinese has a full infirmary and Runjaic will have to do without Jordan Zemura, Nicolò Zaniolo, Adam Buksa, Jakub Piotrowski and Hassane Kamara. Kristensen, Kabasele and Solet will defend Okoye’s goal, at left back Bertola will start, and Zanoli, Miller, Karlström and Ekkelenkamp will round out the department. Atta in the three-quarter in support of the’only forward Davis.
