La Liga 2025-2026: Girona-Getafe, the likely lineups.

Girona goes in search of its fourth consecutive victory in La Liga in Monday’s post-match against Getafe, a confrontation that pits two teams in opposite moments: the Catalans have climbed up to 12th place thanks to victories against Mallorca, Osasuna and Espanyol, while the guests have slipped into the relegation zone after the defeats against Real Sociedad and Valencia.

Michel’s team has not only won its last three games but also collected 12 points in the five matches prior to Monday’s, a useful roster to move away, at least for the moment, from the danger zone. Absences remain numerous, with Van de Beek, Stuani and Portu still out, plus the disqualifications of Arnau Martínez and Kourouma. There will still be Lemar, who will act as a trequartista, while Vanat is favored to lead the attack.

Getafe, on the other hand, is coming from a complicated period, with only one point won in the last six matches and the home loss to Valencia aggravating the situation. Bordalás has to deal with injuries to Mayoral and Davinchi, as well as doubts about Abqar, Kamara and Femenia. Up front, there is room for Satriano, a new arrival from Lyon, with Liso second forward and Mario Martin in support.
