After four consecutive defeats, Torino regained victory against Lecce in the lunch match valid for the 23rd day of Serie A. At the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino, the granata only needed a goal from Adams to overcome the Giallorossi, who collected their fourth win in the last five days.

The first chance is of the Salento brand: at 27′ Ramadani tries with a shot from the distance but Paleari on the dive saves in a corner kick. Two minutes later, Toro took the lead on the first shot on goal: Vlasic crossed from the right for Adams, who all alone just had to put in the goal. Then in the space of three minutes Zapata tries twice but first he kicks high, then Falcone clears twice. In the final Paleari saves on Gandelman.

At the start of the second half, the hosts came close to doubling the score with Zapata sliding in but Falcone was miraculous. The guests respond with Danilo Veiga but his shot ends high over the crossbar. Di Francesco plays the Banda card but it is the Toro still dangerous at 67′ with Adams shooting out from a decidedly favorable position. At 73′ Danilo Veiga saves on the line after a super intervention by Falcone on Zapata. In the finale, Banda came close to equalizing with a nice right-footed shot that, however, hit the post.

Thanks to this victory, Torino climbs to 26 points in the standings, moving up to 13th place, while Lecce remains stuck on 18 points, in fourth-last place, with only a point ahead of Fiorentina, defeated by Napoli.
