Peppe Poeta enjoys the win with Baskonia that keeps Olimpia Milano in the running at least for the Euroleague play-in: “I am satisfied because in the second half we raised our intensity sharply, conceding only 33 points. The key is all in continuity: we have to be more consistent. We showed two faces again today, but the second consecutive Euroleague win came and six players went into double figures”.

Great applause especially for Booker: “He confirmed that he can play games at this level, he is a player who needs to be on the court a lot. It is clear that without Josh the team has performed better, while with him the integration is more complicated. It is up to us to find a solution to enhance both of them, even though they are two completely different players. We have to be able to adapt and be chameleon-like”.

Flaccadori’s performance was also underlined: “He also finished with 10 points, but beyond the numbers, since he came back he has been flawless. I have a special bond with him. Whenever he is called upon he responds present: whether he plays 2 minutes or 15, he is always ready. He is an example for everyone else”.
