Leon Goretzka: ongoing negotiations with his new club

Leon Goretzka has decided to stay at Bayern Munich until the end of the season, but his future is already written. With his contract expiring in June, the German national has received several calls and offers in recent weeks, and according to rumors he has already made his choice.

According to Bayern Insider reports, Goretzka has decided to move to the Premier League, to a dynamic and physical soccer that suits his characteristics well: and his precise destination would be Arsenal’Arsenal. The esteem with Mikel Arteta is mutual, the Spanish coach needs a player of his qualities in midfield, while the Bayern Munich star appreciates the Gunners’ style of play.

In the final days of the winter market session, Arsenal had expressed interest in an immediate transfer to the player, who had refused, preferring to postpone everything until the end of the season.

Goretzka did not want to take any risks in view of the 2026 World Cup.

On Instagram the midfielder explained the reason for his decision: “As honored as I am by the interest of top international clubs, I have made a clear decision: I want to stay at Bayern until the end of the season. The club and I have decided that our fruitful cooperation will end in the summer. Until then we will fight together to win titles”.

L’Arsenal is in pole position and in great advantage but is not the’only club interested in the Bochum-born player. Tottenham, Atletico Madrid and Milan have made him interesting proposals, which will be evaluated in the coming weeks.

Goretzka&#8217s future is undoubtedly abroad, as the player reiterated in a recent interview:“I find the idea of going abroad exciting, sooner or later. It would also be an important step for my personal growth”.
