Serie A 2025-2026: Pisa-Milan, the likely lineups

The 25th day of Serie A opens with an important challenge for both sides of the standings: Pisa hosts the Milan looking for salvation points, while the Rossoneri want to stay in the wake of the’Inter in the title race.
Pisa, last in the standings along with Verona, is hunting for its second win of the season (the first on Nov. 7 against Cremonese). They are moving toward confirmation of the three-man defense and four-man midfield, with Loyola starting alongside Aebischer given Marin’s disqualification. Some doubts remain in defense, although the block that snatched a point and a clean sheet in Verona could be confirmed. Calabresi, who will be rewarded for 100 appearances in the Nerazzurri, is an alternative. On the flanks Touré and Angori are possible, with Leris and Iling-Junior ready to play their cards. Forwards Tramoni and Moreo behind Durosinmi’s lone point is a definite possibility.
Well different are the ambitions of Milan, fresh from the success over Bologna and strong from an open streak of 23 consecutive useful results in the league. Massimiliano Allegri‘s team cannot afford any missteps, even considering the match to be made up against Como. The form should be the usual 3-5-2, with Nkunku and Loftus-Cheek in attack. Leao and Pulisic are expected to start from the bench, with the latter ready for a competitive break. In midfield Modric will be the director, flanked by Rabiot, while on the right Athekame will replace the injured Saelemaekers. For Allegri it will also be a return with a special flavor: he played in the Nerazzurri at the beginning of his career, making his Serie A debut precisely against Milan in the 1989/90 season.
