Antoine Griezmann, farewell to'Atletico Madrid: ready for a new adventure

Antoine Griezmann could soon begin a new adventure in the United States. Atletico Madrid’s French striker, so far on 35 appearances for the season with the Spanish club, is reportedly in talks with Major League Soccer outfit Orlando City Soccer Club, as reported by The Athletic.
At 34 years old, and with 210 goals making him the top scorer in Atletico’s history, Griezmann could finally land in MLS after years of courtship.
The MLS market window will remain open from Jan. 26 to March 26, with a second session scheduled from July 13 to Sept. 2.
Despite his renewal with Atletico until 2027, signed last June, the Frenchman no longer seems to occupy a central role in the Madrid club’s technical project.
