Champions League playoffs: other favorites all pass

Apart from Inter Milan, the other playoff favorites on Tuesday comfortably passed the round, qualifying for the Champions League round of 16. After the 6-1 win in the first leg, it was just a formality for Newcastle at St James’Park against Qarabag: the Magpies sealed the deal in the first six minutes with goals from Tonali, and Joelinton, then sat back and conceded Duran’s 1-2.
In the second half Botman and for the guests Cafarquilieyev set the score at 3-2.
No goals between Bayer Leverkusen and Olympiakos:
After the 2-0 win in the first leg in Greece, the Germans managed their strengths, and the match was rather dull, apart from a Grimaldo crossbar in the second half.
