Bayern Munich: only one player is unhappy with the situation

Bayern Munich is having an excellent season so far: clearly leading the Bundesliga standings, qualified directly to the round of 16 of the Champions League and is still in the running for the German Cup. Vincent Kompany’s team still has a chance to win all three competitions, and the group seems quite united and compact, with one exception.

According to Sport Bild reports, the only player at the moment visibly unhappy with the situation is Nicolas Jackson, the striker who arrived on loan in the summer from Chelsea. Chosen at the last minute as Harry Kane&#8217s backup, the Senegalese forward has found very little space precisely because of the extraordinary season of the English bomber, who has played as a starter almost every game, scoring back-to-back goals.

Kompany has tried to deploy Jackson on a few occasions alongside Harry Kane, but after his departure for the African Cup of Nations, and the simultaneous return of Jamal Musiala, the situation has markedly deteriorated for the player, who has increasingly been sidelined in Bayern&#8217s stellar attack. Overall, Jackson has played just five games as a starter between the Bundesliga and Champions League.

The last time he netted in the league was last November. Kompany recently commented on his situation as follows: “We are happy to have Nicolas Jackson with us. Any decision on the summer will be discussed with Nicolas himself and between the clubs. I do not have an answer at the moment about his future. The’only thing I know is that we are very happy to have him with us”.
