Roberto Mancini is banking on his team’s pride on the eve of the match against Juventus: “They are the strongest team in Italy, but Inter is not far behind. Slowly we will reach their level, with a base of players to which we can add quality with the market.”
“Will it be the turning point match? I don’t think so, with 12 days to go I don’t think so. When there are still 40 points available … It’s an important match for sure anyway. Us like Bayern in the first half? Let’s not take that as an example, they are different. I think we can have a very good match, draw or win, even in the Cup we had a good match even though we lost 3-0 and we lacked offensive projection. We are capable of making an important result.”
“We lost points where we didn’t deserve to lose them, then maybe you go and win a match like that and recover what you have thrown away in the last weeks. It will be difficult for us but also for them.”
National team bench: “I am here, my thought is only for Inter and for the current and next year’s goals. Then obviously the national team is very important, however, it seems a bit early to me.”
