Pioli berates Candreva

After remaining the only Italian in the Europa League, Stefano Pioli’s Lazio can get back to thinking about the league. The Biancocelesti are expected to face Sassuolo, the revelation team of this championship.
However, the Lazio coach chastised Antonio Candreva, a player who is going through a rather complicated period: “Candreva is a very good player, I expect a lot from him, I expect more.”
On the match against Di Francesco’s men: “We are the ones who have to make sense of the championship and chase the goal of improving the standings, tomorrow is a very important match because we want to overtake Sassuolo, who are ahead of us and playing well,” the Emilia coach added.
