The two postponements of the 27th round of the Premier League give a half-smile to Claudio Ranieri. His Leicester City remains at the top of the league despite Tottenham’s victory: the Spurs, who won in a comeback against Swansea through Alberto Paloschi (in goal), move to -2 from the leader and +3 on Arsenal. Goals by Chadli and Rose gave Mauricio Pochettino’s men the success, after the former Chievo man’s illusion goal.
The Gunners, meanwhile, lost at Old Trafford: goals from Welbeck and Ozil were not enough for Wenger’s men, victims of the day’s matador, Rashford.
United’s baby phenom with an assist to Herrera and a brace was the executioner of Arsenal, which now feels pressure from fourth-placed Manchester City.
