Rolando Maran is sorry for Saturday night’s defeat: “We tried against a good Napoli side, we were lucky to go ahead right away, then they were good at finding the equalizer shortly after. We are especially sorry for the second goal on a spot kick that we could have avoided, however the team was generous: we have to roll up our sleeves without thinking more about this defeat. In the second half we had some situations where we could find the equalizer, then the third goal cut us off, however the boys did what they could.”
“The sale of Paloschi to develop the other strikers in the squad? Chievo sometimes also has to make unwanted disposals, losing Alberto was a disappointment but our strikers are growing and need to play to find their best condition,” he concluded to Premium Sport.
