Napoli returns to winning ways, Juve hooked

Return to success for Napoli, which, thanks to the usual Higuain but not only (goals also for Chiriches and Callejon), folds Chievo and hooks Juventus at least for one night at the top of the standings.

The start, however, is shock for Sarri’s men: Chiriches, on the pitch in place of Albiol, loses an incredible ball, allowing Rigoni to unlock the result in favor of the guests and freeze the San Paolo. The 0-1 lasted only a few minutes, however, because Higuain turned a low cross from Ghoulam into the goal, restoring parity. Napoli played the game but conceded space to Chievo, which nearly took the lead again (Pellissier’s post but action vitiated by an offside). Before halftime, Chirichies made up for the cold mistake and scored the very heavy 2-1.

In the second half Napoli pushed in search of the goal of tranquility and after a Higuain cross found it with a perfect cutback by Callejon. In the final, the Azzurri tried to increase the already rich haul of goals by the Serie A’s top scorer but the result did not change anymore.
