Dovizioso’s half-hearted joy

The feeling is that of someone who arrived late to an appointment with history.

Andrea Dovizioso participates without the smile of the great occasions in the celebration of Ducati, back to win a MotoGp race after 6 years. Indeed, they even did a double in Borgo Panigale, but it is fatal that the fact that it was Andrea Iannone who crossed the finish line first does not make Dovi jump for joy, in light also of the not idyllic relations developed with his partner during the season.

“We worked very well, the bike was perfect today but I didn’t have much grip,” the Romagna rider told Sky microphones after the race, “I had less grip than Iannone. I’m disappointed, but also very happy for Ducati’s one-two finish,” closed Andrea, who will share the box next season with Jorge Lorenzo, third in Zeltweg.
