Viterbese, exoneration encore for Cornacchini

While his former Grosseto languishes in Serie D and is on its way to a sad disappearance from the football scene, Piero Camilli continues to reap victims on the bench of Viterbese, a club that the Commander took over in 2013, bringing it back in three years from Eccellenza to the professionals at the end of the triumphant last season, which ended with the conquest of the amateur scudetto.
The Lazio club has in fact officially announced the news of the third exoneration of the season, the second personal one for Giovanni Cornacchini: to the former Fano coach, who had started the season except to be replaced by Dino Pagliari after the penultimate day of the first half of the season, and to be recalled just a month ago, the defeat suffered in the final on Saturday on the Livorno field, the third consecutive one out of four games of the brief encore reign on the Gialloblù bench for the former Milan striker, was fatal.
The new coach is Rosolino Puccica, a native of Viterbo, his third experience at the “Rocchi,” the last in Serie D in 2011. Puccica had not coached in the third series even since 2004 at Lanciano.
