Foggia coach Giovanni Stroppa does not hide his disappointment after the draw with Novara: “Fair draw? No. We deserved much more. Results are made with chances, and we expressed a lot. There was no match in my opinion. We have to improve in certain aspects, I feel sorry for the boys because they are incredible in determination. We need to make the leap in quality, we are behind in dribbling once we took the lead.”

“We need to be better, we did everything and more to take the lead in a difficult match, because Novara defended well. At the first shot on goal they nabbed the great goal at the cross, probably spoiled by a foul on Agazzi. Sorry for the personality and quality that the team brought to the field, I would have expected that once we took the lead, we would have had the strength to close it in the chances created in restarts, but also to administer the game.”

“Never has it happened to me to suffer three injuries in the first half. I don’t know the conditions of the injured players, so hot off the press I couldn’t give adequate information. Camporese fell badly and took a blow to the head. The midfield? It has given important answers so far, it didn’t seem appropriate to change. The final episode on Chiricò? I didn’t get a close look at what happened. Sensation from the field? It looked like a penalty.”
