Broadsides to Sebastian Vettel and Aston Martin: "A cow does not become a tiger"

Ralf Schumacher: “A cow doesn’t become a tiger overnight.”
Ralf Schumacher in an interview with Bild heavily criticized Sebastian Vettel’s first months at Aston Martin: “Vettel moved to Aston Martin hoping to have a shortcut to the top of the standings with Stroll’s money. But you also have to bring the right people into the project. A cow doesn’t become a tiger overnight.”
“From what I hear there are a lot of internal problems,” Schumacher continued, “some disappointed engineers left. And they had to bring in others. Their goal must be to get to the title as soon as possible, otherwise Stroll might reevaluate the investment, including the presence of his son Lance.”
Ralf Schumacher did not spare Vettel either: “He is dealing with many extra F1 things and he has the right to do so. But his main concern should be to get his teammate under control. Last year Perez was giving two or three tenths to Stroll in every condition. And seeing the balance of power between Perez and Verstappen in Red Bull, Vettel should easily get the better of Stroll.”
