“The Collegio di Garanzia del Coni has rejected the appeal of ChievoVerona against the exclusion from the Serie B championship resulting from the double rejection of the Covisoc and ratified by the Federal Council on July 15. Tomorrow, the Federal Council of the FIGC, scheduled at 11:00 a.m., will fill the gap in the Serie B roster,” reads the official website of Cosenza, which is ready to take over from the Veneti.

The Gialloblù club, on the other hand, communicated through its official website the following: “A.C. ChievoVerona takes note of the decision of the Collegio di Garanzia del CONI and announces its intention to appeal that decision at the Lazio Regional Administrative Court to defend its rights, reiterating that it has always operated in line with current and federal regulations for registration in the 2021/22 Serie B championship″.
