Diego Godin, who returned to South America to wear the jersey of Brazil’s Atletico Mineiro, with whom he played very little, however, is changing again: he is moving to Argentina.
The Uruguayan central defender has reached an agreement with Velez Sarsfield, a club from Liniers, a suburb of Buenos Aires, with whom he is bound until December 2023.
Godin turned 36 last February 16. In Italy he wore the shirts of Inter Milan and Cagliari, ending his experience in Sardinia in a rather stormy manner.
