Colorado last won Stanley Cup in 2001
Colorado is one step away from the Stanley Cup (last won back in 2011). In Game 4, it was Kadri who scored, in overtime, the final 3-2 goal that sent the Tampa Bay Lightning down. A success that makes it 3-1 in the series in favor of the Avalanche.
Curiously, Kadri had missed the last four games because of the thumb problem he suffered last June 4. His return was “headline-making” with the goal that brings Colorado decisively closer to the Stanley Cup. Friday night, at home, the Avalanche can close out the series (now at 3-1) and get the party started.
