Camila Giorgi’s march at the Eastbourne tournament in East Sussex, England, came to an abrupt halt.
The Marche-based tennis player, who had hoisted herself all the way to the semifinals, was unable to do anything against Jelena Ostapenko: the Kazakh player won in two sets, both brought home with a score of 6-2.
No breaks for Giorgi (two per set, instead, those of Ostapenko): in these days, however, Camila honed her preparation for the Wimbledon tournament.
