Ducati, Enea Bastianini: “No luck, but not only”
Team Ducati Gresini centaur Bastianini will start from 16th position in the race: “But in the race I can recover”
Team Ducati Gresini centaur Enea Bastianini will start from 16th place in the Dutch Grand Prix. Penalized in Q1 by a technical problem with his bike, the Rimini centaur is expected to make a great comeback: “I’m disappointed because I got off to a good start and even in FP4 I had positive confirmations – his words to Speedweek -. Unfortunately, in Q1 the bike had a problem and I had to use the second one which, in turn, was not flawless and I couldn’t pull the rabbit out of the hat. I didn’t even have any more tires because I had to safeguard them, not my lucky moment.”
“The speed is there, but since this morning I haven’t felt the front end, and since we’ve been back in Europe, unfortunately it happens to me a lot – continued Bastianini, who hopes in any case for a comeback -. Assen is a track where if you ride smoothly you gain. The bike is good, also the tires and on this track you can overtake. I would like to finish in the top 8, also because apart from the very first ones, the group will remain compact.”
