Marc Marquez made his goal for the coming season clear during a conversation with Rebeca Yuste, an engineer and circular economy expert at the Repsol Technology Lab, as reported by ‘Marca’: “We face the new year with the utmost enthusiasm and ambition. We are in the Repsol Honda Team and this means that it is mandatory to fight for the top positions.”

The dialogue took place at the end of a training session in which the Spanish rider was able to measure the performance of his bike with renewable fuels with a low carbon footprint. “Was it really a biofuel? I didn’t notice the difference,” Marquez confessed to his team, although the eight-time world champion is convinced that MotoGP must innovate to “be sustainable.”

“It’s the peace of mind that people have to have, if I didn’t notice any difference at race level, obviously at street level it’s much less noticeable,” he stressed.
