Ilic went to Marseille

Torino is looking for alternatives for the center-back after seeing Ivan Ilic, who has moved from Hellas Verona to Marseille, fade away. The Granata management is continuing to work to give Ivan Juric reinforcements ahead of the start of the second half of the Serie A championship.

The new name on Davide Vagnati’s notebook is that of Udinese-owned Jean-Victor Makengo, class of 1998. The Frenchman, in his second season in Italy after experiences with Caen, Nice and Toulouse, has become one of the fixed points in Andrea Sottil’s lineup, who has sent him out on 16 occasions in the current championship, including 11 as a starter.

Turin, however, is not the only club with its eyes on Makengo: in fact, there is also the La Liga club Granada on the midfielder of the Bianconeri team. Whoever wants to win the player’s performance, however, will have to make a substantial offer to Udinese, since Makengo’s contract will only expire in June 2025.
