Two-year deal for wing-center

Pallacanestro Reggiana announced on Saturday that it has formalized the agreement that will bring Nathan ‘Nate’ Reuvers, a 211-centimeter wing-center seen last season at Cibona, to the City of Tricolor.

“I am thrilled to be able to start this new chapter of my career in Reggio Emilia,” Reuvers told the Emilian club’s channels, “I am extremely grateful to the club for the opportunity it has given me. Playing in both the A Series and the BCL will truly be a stimulating challenge and I look forward to taking away a lot of satisfaction and achieving, together with my teammates, the goals we will set for ourselves.”

“The first new acquisition of the season is a young player but already endowed with great potential,” said, for his part, Filippo Barozzi, sporting director of the biancorossi. “Reuvers has shown in his first European season that he holds up very well to the impact with a physical and technical league like the ABA, adapting to European basketball and showing excellent human as well as basketball skills. Nate is a big wing who can also be used tactically as a center; he has double dimension, both inside and perimeter, as well as a distinct propensity for offensive rebounding and stoppage. He will therefore be a valuable help to our long division.”
