No Italy for Wilfried Gnonto
According to reports from Sportmediaset, Wilfried Gnonto’s future lies in the Eredivisie: the Azzurri striker has reached an agreement with Feyenoord and the club is ironing out the details with Zurich. The deal is expected to close for an amount close to 4 million euros.
A few days ago Gnonto’s attorney had stated, “He is a genuine boy. He comes from a family of Ivorian descent that has made many sacrifices to make him stand out. With the sudden success, he has not gotten too big of a head; he keeps his feet firmly planted on the ground. He knows that this is only the first step and his future is yet to be written. This market window has already opened up several opportunities for him, especially abroad.”
