Polish tennis player’s wonderful initiative for Ukraine
Polish tennis player Hubert Hurkacz ahead of the start of Wimbledon announced on social media a beautiful charity initiative in favor of the Ukrainian people: “I pledge to donate 100 euros for every ace I make at Wimbledon to help and support the Ukrainian people. I hope my serve works well.”
Hurkacz in 2022 has hit more than 450 aces, an average of 12 per match, only John Isner and Reilly Opelka have done better than him. The world No. 10 will debut against Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, No. 38 in the world rankings.
