The young pilot has a great feeling for Italy
In an interview with Corriere dello Sport, Tsunoda, a protagonist at the Red Bull Soapbox Race, addressed several issues. In love with Italian food, the young Apha Tauri driver has a dream: “First podium in my career? I don’t think much about that but if it comes, maybe at the Japanese GP, that would be great.”
Instead, the message to the rest of the riders is clear. When asked if, at this moment, Verstappen is the strongest driver in the circus, the Japanese driver showed his claws, “No, I am the strongest driver.” Since landing in Formula 1, Tsunoda’s best result has been a fourth place (last year at the Abu Dhabi GP).
