Lewis Hamilton, words of surrender: "Ferrari level is this"

Lewis Hamilton at Ferrari just can’t seem to get into gear. After having amply denounced the problems he is facing in this first, difficult phase of his d’debut season in red, the Briton analyzed in words as harsh as they are blunt the seventh place he got in the qualifying of the Sprint Race in Miami. Stressing that he does not expect any quantum leaps anytime soon.

“I don&#8220t think I will be able to recover in the Sprint Race – said Hamilton bluntly to the microphones of British ‘Sky Sports’ -Whoever is ahead of our Ferrari right now is really fast. And everyone in front will be faster than us, so my level this is and this will remain”.

Words that resemble a real surrender, at least as far as this stage of the Ferrari season is concerned. “Free practice had gone better, but qualifying for the Sprint Race was not bad either – however, Hamilton pointed out -The problem is that we lack speed, and we have to work hard to figure out how to improve the level of our performance”.
