With the Botman deal gone, Milan is forced to turn to other profiles to shore up the defense. Bremer’s name has popped up in recent weeks, but the Torino center-back already has a verbal agreement with Inter and will most likely wear Nerazzurri. The Rossoneri have therefore put Thilo Kehrer in their sights.
Class of 1996, the former Schalke man is part of Paris Saint Germain’s very long list of redundancies. His contract with the Parisian club is due to expire in 2023 and there is still no negotiation for renewal, a factor that allows the Diavolo to play on the cheap. Competition is high and the Italian champions will have to move quickly to avoid seeing a Botman-bis again.
