F1, Fia puts everyone back on track: new rules
Lots of news, including about cold gasoline
In Paris, the Fia introduced and approved some changes to the 2022 Sporting and Technical Regulations affecting Formula 1. Lots of novelties, starting with tire testing (ok to the use of wet mule cars and prototype tires).
Also changing are the regulations regarding wings, which will have to be more rigid. Finally, on the long-standing issue of cold gasoline, it was decided that in races with hot temperatures, fuel can be brought down to a temperature of 20 degrees (it will be “analyzed” an hour before the session). Previously it could be cooled to no more than 10 degrees above ambient temperature.
