Wimbledon, Lorenzo Sonego dreams of feat with Rafa Nadal
Sonego’s goal is to enter the second week of the London Slam for the second year in a row.
There is great anticipation for the match between Rafael Nadal and Lorenzo Sonego, with the Piedmontese player aiming to enter the second week of Wimbledon for the second year in a row.
Sonego, who knows his stuff on grass, liked both Denis Kudla and Hugo Gaston while the Mallorcan conceded a set to both opponents he faced, namely Argentina’s Francisco Cerundolo and Lithuania’s Ricardas Berankis.
No previous record between Nadal and Sonego, who obviously starts underdog but dreams of a feat with multiple implications: it would, among other things, prevent the Iberian from still being able to cradle the dream of winning the Grand Slam.
