Alibegovic’s new adventure begins

After two seasons and three trophies, including the 2021 Scudetto, played at Virtus Bologna, Bosnian-born but Italian-citizen forward Amar Alibegovic has left the Bologna-based team, exiting his contract.

His new adventure has officially begun: that as a player of Olimpija Ljubljana.

The Slovenian team made the new class ’95 acquisition official on social media: “Young and talented wing center Amar Alibegovic, last season’s champion with Virtus, moves to Ljubljana from Bologna.”
