The class, power and international experience of South African Jacobus van Wyk to solidify the new Zebre squad that, week by week, is being defined to compete against the best of European, British and South African rugby that the two prestigious United Rugby Championship and EPCR Challenge Cup tournaments have to offer.

The former center/wing of the Leicester Tigers, Hurricanes, Sharks and Stormers has signed a season-long contract with the North West XV and is ready to join his new teammates, adding quality to a three-quarter lineup that has already welcomed young Italian rugby talent such as Lorenzo Pani, Simone Gesi, Damiano Mazza, Ratko Jelic and experienced players such as English opener Tiff Eden.

The class of 1992 told about his first emotions for this new adventure, “I am looking forward to the next season! I can’t wait to meet the Zebre family, wear the club’s jersey, test myself in this new adventure and contribute to the team’s growth.”
