F1, Ferrari: Charles Leclerc knows what he wants in Austria
He will start second in the Sprint
For the third time in a row Charles Leclerc did not make pole position. The Ferrarista, who had made six in the first eight races, will start second in the Sprint of the Austrian GP behind Max Verstappen.
The Monegasque commented on his qualifying like this, “The conditions were challenging. Max, Carlos and I were all three close, it was an exciting qualifying – so Leclerc after Q3 -. I struggled a bit on the last lap because I couldn’t get the tires back up to temperature after so much time in the pits.”
“Max was just a little bit faster so I congratulate him,” continued Leclerc, who knows what he wants from the Sprint. “I want a clean race, it’s true that the last five have been a bit of a disaster on my part, but now I hope it’s all smooth sailing and to score the points we deserve.
