Tour de France, Tadej Pogacar makes another masterpiece

Consolidates lead in overall standings
Always and only Tadej Pogacar. The young UAE Team Emirates rider wins his second consecutive stage in this Tour de France 2022. The 23-year-old Slovenian, already yellow jersey, wins the first uphill finish at La Super Planche des Belles Filles.
Eighth victory in total at the Tour for Pogacar, who at the last kilometer caught up with and passed Lennard Kamna (Bora-Hansgrohe), then fourth. Second and third place for the two of Jumbo-Visma, Jonas Vingegaard and Primoz Roglic.
In the general classification Pogacar now has a 35-second lead right over Vingegaard, 1’10” over Geraint Thomas (Ineos) and 1’18” over Adam Yates (Ineos).
