F1: Tsunoda, ironic reaction to Fernando Alonso’s finger
Tsunoda on social responded to Fernando Alonso’s “no” gesture in the race
During the Austrian Grand Prix, the duel between Alpha Tauri rookie Yuki Tsunoda and Alpine veteran Fernando Alonso caused discussion. The Japanese driver on the straight between turns 3 and 4 squeezed the Asturian driver a little too tightly, forcing him to put two wheels on the grass.
The two-time world champion, stymied, then made the “no” sign with his finger to the Japanese driver flanking him on the straight. After the race, Tsunoda in Instagram stories responded ironically to Alonso’s gesture, posting the emoji of the military salute, as if to say “under orders!”
